    World Shore Angling Championships

    20-27 October 2018 Conwy County, North Wales

    The Welsh Federation of Sea Anglers and Conwy County Borough Council welcome the world’s top shore anglers to Conwy County for the 35th World Championship for Men and the 26th World Championship for Ladies. 


    20 Oct - 4 Nov: Ffear Fforest, Betws-y-Coed

    Twist and turn through the forbidden Fforest on the Fforest Ghoster this Halloween, with a scary surprise at each corner. You’ll make it to the bottom, but we don’t promise your soul will... 

    Bounce your way through the netted jungle, whilst avoiding the horde of zombies which dwell within. Run along Europe’s longest net walkway to make your escape... or will the zombies catch you..?

    Pre-book your ticket for £25 and enjoy access to Zip World Ffear Fforest Halloween 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Your pass will grant you entry to Zombie Nets, two rides on Fforest Ghoster and all of the other spooky twists and turns we have in store. Get your pass now, if you dare. 


    Snowdonia Slate Trail

    An 85 mile circular trail has just been launched, on which walkers can explore the slate areas in Snowdonia, and also gain a better understanding and appreciation of the slate heritage of the area. Starting at Porth Penrhyn near Bangor and ending at Bethesda, Snowdonia Slate Trail not only passes through the beautiful scenery of Snowdonia and the popular villages of Llanberis and Beddgelert , but also introduces the walker to lesser known villages such as Llanllechid, Bethesda, Dinorwig, Waunfawr, Nantlle, Rhyd Ddu, Croesor, Ffestiniog and Penmachno.
